OOTD Post: School Day Outfits

Happy holidays girls and bekis! Time flies so fast, right? Who would have thought that it's almost Christmas! Heck, it didn't even hit me until 2 weekends ago when I saw this bigass parol in Palma Hall where my Nihongo classes are being held every Saturday.

Of course it ain't UP without the aktibista art.

Anyhoo, I'm working both Christmas Eve and on the day itself, but was lucky to pick the New Year's Eve and January 1 vacation that was raffled off in the office.

I hope you were able to get your holiday shopping done, because I sure still have a lot of names not yet crossed out on my list.

So here goes another kapal muks OOTD post these were taken on two separate Saturdays before and after the last two meetings for Nihongo.

Outfit #1:

Black top & denim cutoff shorts - both from St Francis Square
shoes - beat up Chuck Taylors

This is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. It's not shown in the picture (must get a phone with better cam quality) but the lace detail on the sleeves and hem are definitely something.

Outfit #2: Kunyare Fasyown Bloggers Tayes

I'm with Willy Wonka's intern. HE HE HE.

Nirvana shirt - TTEES
Skater skirt - Forever21 (calm your tits, I'm not claiming to be a skater it's just that that's how they call this skirt)
shoes - ever reliable beat up Chucks

And I'd like to introduce my boyfriend - Jiro. Yep, the guy with pink hair who's game enough to do the "fasyown blogger" pose.

So, there you go. I still have a couple of pending posts for product reviews.

また ね!

What's In My Bag: November 2013

Hello hello hello! I've been busy with work and school. The account I'm handling just acquired a new LOB and I was transferred to the pioneer set of agents in it. plus Nihongo Module 2 is ending this December and I'm dreading the final exam which would cover the book from end to end.

Anyway, here's a random post about the contents of my purse. There was a time when my boyfriend joked that if ever I got stranded in a deserted island, I could live in my bag.

Well... I guess he's sort of right.

This is what I'm currently using. A blue satchel with beige straps from bargain heaven St Francis Square for only Php500.

Company ID, pink power bank, keys, Fibrosine (I've been trying to have more fiber in my diet, which is quite challenging since my workplace is teeming with fast food places), fan, wallet & coin purse.

Kikay kit, BBW's Sea Island Cotton, mouthwash, lotion

Contents of said kikay kit: ELF Contour Blush & Bronzing Powder, Skin Food concealer palette, ELF Eyebrow kit, CoverGirl Fresh Complexion Pocket Powder in Buff Beige, SeptoClear contacts drops, Lip Smacker in Cotton Candy, ELF Matte Lip Color in Rich Red, Elfar Lipstick in Peach, ZA Pure Shine Lips in Lady Red, Marionnaud pointed tweezers, Forever 21 face & crease brush, alcohol in atomizer, Vicks and Katinko. Not shown: spare underwear and liner

School stuff. I usually stuff these in my bag from the midweek onwards in case of spur-of-the-moment study dates at Starbucks with the boyfriend.

Pens, correction tape, Staedler eraser I've had since I was 15 - this one has so much sentimental value to me. My dad got it for me when I took the UPCAT (no, I didn't attend UP for my undergraduate studies), sharpener and giant paper clip to hold my vocabulary flash cards together.

Scissors (because you never know when you'd need one), highlighters and kiddie ruler. I've always learned better if I color code the stuff I review and organize tables.

Messy Bessy Little Warrior sanitizer in Green Tea, mentholated personal wipes, LED flashlight, mints tin that serves as my meds container, earphones (gotta have my music), O+ mobile, Forever21 sunnies.
