Product Review: L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer, Nichido Cheek Tint & Nichido Pressed Powder

Happy Valentine's gels and gheis!

I don't know about you but I sure am hella confused with how the weather's behaving recently. For one, no complaints about the cold. Although it is quite challenging to get up from a warm bed if you need to be at work by 3am. Not to mention the freezing cold air in the travel from Antipolo to Ortigas. Brr!

But, please. Don't you agree that it's too early for our signature summer heat to make its' presence known?

Anyhow, here's a long overdue review on makeup products I used for the wedding I attended.

L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Pure Beige

Concealer had always been on my MakeUp's Greatest Hits list since I started dabbling in makeup back in university. It's not to hide zits (I always preferred to let nature take it's course on pimples - AND bombard them with astringent like a Starship Trooper), but mainly to hide dark undereye circles.

My first reaction when the SA offered it to me was "Erm.. no thank you very much." since liquid concealer and I are not really the best of friends. The last one I tried made me look washed out (aka death heated in the microwave) during an office meeting with our U.S.-based clients.

What made me change my mind was when she tested it on my undereye area. I snapped it up and marched to the counter along with my other finds for that day.

So far I haven't found any cons to this product.

- The tube has a brush applicator so it's easy to apply even on hard to reach areas

- Scentless

- Lasts the whole day

- Affordable at Php299

Nichido Cheek Tint in Tickled Pink

This is an oldie but a goodie

I've first discovered this back in college and I thought of giving my powder blushes a rest.

Formulation hasn't changed. No breakouts. Lasts me the whole day. Less than Php200. What's not to like about it?

Nichido Pressed Powder in Natural Beige

Since I was toting a teensie minaudiere for the wedding, none of my chunky face powders would do (I also had to stash my phone, camera, lipstick and my fragrance atomizer in it too!) - the first thing I asked the SA was "The thinnest face powder you have that can fit in a really tiny evening bag."

Et voila, she handed me this white compact priced at Php100.

Blends well. Kept my oilies at bay (check my photos on the previous entry). Great deal, eh?

I hope these reviews helped you in case you're out buying for some V-day date makeup.

Remember, it's not about having a S.O./jowa/bowa/friend with benefits on this particular day. Because tomorrow it'll all be over. And if you're planning on a little sum-in' sum-in' tonight - please, keep it safe.
